I'm getting a bunch of questions from Quora. The headers all look like this:

Can you answer this question? Such and such user is asking if you can answer this question. Can you answer...

In short, in the English version the top line does not include even a hint to what was the question.
Same in French.
Not so in Spanish, gracias a diós.

So I rather answer Spanish questions, and just delete French and English ones. Except when the person's name looks interesting.

I know, quora developers are totally weird. 100 deployments a day, and testing it after deployment. Weird people.

Они отмодерировали мой ответ про H1, не въехав в сарказм и вообще. И вот я им навалял; небось, забанят меня там. As if мне не похуй.

I would appreciate if you were more specific regarding what exactly you found insulting, and insulting to whom.

My answer was obviously sarcastic, and as such, it was upvoted by 1.2k people. I understand you may not understand the idea of sarcasm, but it makes sense to a) talk to other people, b) be more specific regarding which phrase you found “not nice”.

I’m actually not always nice. Other people are not either. If you look for answers regarding Hitler, Stalin, Kim, and the like, you’ll find their words not as nice as you probably would like to hear. There’s a lot of evil in this world. If we are nice to evil, the evil grows bigger. I don’t know what kind of people are censoring the answers, but they probably should be more mature.

Nothing in my answer was insulting to anybody. I have a high respect towards people on H1B, after all, I was there myself. If you were unable to read properly the meaning of what I was writing, this can be helped. There are great books out there. Please read them.

my answer

I don’t think I’m entitled to speak for all Scala programmers, but I know some.

So, in general, C# is pretty nice. But it’s so ancient. First, it’s not community supported. You cannot expect somebody coming up with C#Z, or Cats#, or Spark# - Microsoft is an obstacle to doing anything good for the community, I guess. I may be wrong.

And the language, of course, it’s awkward, compared to Scala (and, more and more, compared to Java, too).

It would be nice to hear other opinions, so I’m reposting it on twitter.

The first one was what I was going to ask...
